The free, color-coded lots are connected to The Pavilion by corresponding pathways with signs leading across The Waterway.It was obvious that Houston Grand Opera would want to make something special out of its 25th anniversary season. Guests also can park in any of the five free parking lots on the southwest side of The Pavilion. Tickets for onsite parking can be purchased in advance at all Ticketmaster locations and The Pavilion Box Office. Parking is $10 per vehicle for this and most performing arts events. Preferred parking is available in the onsite Town Center Garage, located along Six Pines Drive. Lawn chairs also are provided free for this event. Keep in mind that beverages cannot be brought into The Pavilion. in the North Plaza.Īt the opera, guests are welcome to have a picnic in their seat or on the hill. The opera tells a story of a dapper prince, Tamino, who is rescued from a serpent by three mystical ladies working for the Queen of Night.
